sharing a calendar (w/ Exchange - SBS2003)

I have checked out many calendar sharing questions on this site and all of
them seem to ask about sharing PSTs without Exchange. Well, I have a
different type of sharing question that I haven't found the answer to yet.

My wife and I each have Office/Outlook 2007 on our own individual laptops.
Each of us use the same Exchange server (SBS2003) that I have configured.
Currently we are making changes to our own individual calendars and copying
this data to the other person manually. I know we can "share" our calendars
and make changes to each others individual calendars, but what I would rather
do is have each of our Outlook installations accessing the SAME calendar.
This way we would ALWAYS have the same information on each calendar without
having to go through the trouble of updating 2 calendars. We would each like
to see all of each others calendar items all of the time.

How can this be done?

Thanks in advance...

You could create a calendar folder in the server's Public Folders hierarchy, mail enable it, and invite it to all your appointments. That way, both of you will have access to the same calendar. Such a public calendar, however, cannot be your default calendar.

We really need the combined data to be our default calendar(s) because
another piece of the puzzle is that we have PDAs that we sync with Outlook
and this only uses the default calendar. We can't sync the PDAs (BlackBerry
and WM5 units) with a non-default calendar.

Any other suggestions how we can accomplish this goal?
Are there any third party apps that may help with this?

Thanks!

Then you'll both need to use the same Exchange account.

Hy,

To have the combined data you can try to use a plug in for Outlook and
create a common Calendar and access it with the PDA... and yes you are
right... PDAs sync only with the default folders. shame to MS at this
point. cause as I now it Outlook limitation. :( That's bad...

Check this link. I think they have some sync plug ins for MS Outloook:
