Sharing a business contact manager

I want to share my BCM DB with several co-workers and allow all of them to
contribute. First can I place it on a server and have everyone link to it
there? Does it then sync to my pc like my personal folder? If it does not
sync when I am off the network will it update new emails when I log back on?

I'm also having problem with sharing the database. I've followed exactly the
guidelines on sharing and stuff but still unable to connect to the host
computer.
Everytime I enter the host computer name- I will get the message 'Your
attempt to connect to the remote computer could not be completed due to these
possible reasons etc etc' and I've made sure that I had permitted access to
the client computer.

Almost given up, and found this disccussion community, and hopefully someone
will be able to offer their help....
