How can I limit the access to shares like with w2k?
Normally all XP shares are open for everybody... :-(
 
Assuming your drive is formatted NTFS...

Turn off Simple File Sharing:

Open up My Computer, Tools, Folder Options, View, scroll all the way
down and uncheck it.

It should be the same as W2K. On the PC, right click on the "shared" folder
and select properties. Find Security sestion and select the security
options per user.
