Sharepoint file extensions

I'm not sure if this is the place to post questions about sharepoint, but I
couldn't find a NG on my server that explicitly mentioned it.

How can I make certain file types, ay, MP3's, recognized file types on
sharepoint. If I upload a .WMA file, I get the little Windows Media Player
icon next to it. But when I upload an MP3, I just get the windows file icon.
