sharepoint calendar in 2003/2007

Can I have a sharepoint calendar program and use both microsoft 2003 and 2007
users?
 
Which version of SharePoint?

2003 can connect to it but not edit it - they need to go to the sps site. OL
2007 can edit SPS2007 calendars and changes are uploaded to the sps site.
