Shared .pst files?

I work with another individual who needs to be able to access emails I have previously sent or received. In an attempt to provide us with this capability, I created a new .pst on a shared drive, then added it to both our outlook properties. We can both put emails into the folders in the shared .pst, but we can't both gain access at the same time. If he has the .pst file open and I need to access it, he has to close outlook so I can use it.

Is there a way for both of us to access the same .pst simultaneously?

No there isn't. Each instance of Outlook needs exclusive read-write access
to the pst file.

Yes you may try :
shareoutlook.4team.biz

A bit tricky to install (good support, even on the trial) but it works fine
for me.

I think this tool is on the websites I still posted in my email. I try to
post only websites with a list of products not only one product. If so, I
would post our product. :-)

We also know this program but we think it is a sync tool not a realy sharing
solution.

Anyhow, all good products will find his enthusiastic customer.
