*** I am posting this on 2 different newsgroups due to not knowing which is
more appropriate. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. ***
I have just upgraded the hardware 3 of my computers (including my Server) on
my network but I can't get printer access to a few of the computers. I have
a Workgroup not a domain and yes my printer is shared. On the computer that
the printer is physically hook-up to is a AMD Athlon XP 2500, 512 RAM and a
GForce FX-5200 video card. I am using a MSI motherboard and all my bios is
up to date. I am running Windows XP Professional and the printer is a NEC
Superscript 870 and it works fine with the computer it is connected to. I
can see it (the printer) and USE it on a Win 98 computer but my Windows 2000
(file server) and a WinXP Home can not access it. The WInXP Home computer
sees it but I get an error (unknown) and nothing prints. On the WIn2K
computer I can't even see that it's available, although I can see another
printer that is connected to the WIn98 computer.
Any Ideas??
