Shared Printer doesn't work when all users are logged off

Win XP - If no one is logged onto the XP PC that has the
printer connected to it, is the printer unavailable on the
network?
 
The printer sharing is done from the spooler, which is a service that is set
to run automatically, without any user being logged on, so it should always
be available.
