Shared folder/contact/calendar notifications

We are about to migrate to Outlook 2003 from GroupWise. In GW you can
automatically create an email message to the people for whom you are
sharing permission on a shared folder or calendar or address book. Is
there such a function in OL 2003 for sending notification of shared
folders, calendar or contacts?
