Hello,
I have posted similar to the below already. Never got a clear reply.
Perhaps my question was not clear.
I have an ICS host that connects to the internet via a DSL modem. I
am wondering if shared files, on a peer to peer network, are secure.
Configuration is as follows:
ICS HOST
NIC#1 is connected to the DSL modem and has ICS enabled and file
sharing disabled, Client for Microsoft Network is disabled.
NIC#2 is used for the peer to peer network and has file sharing and
Client for MN enabled.
Are the shared files on the host secure from intrusion over the
internet?
ICS CLIENT
As an ICS client, its only NIC provides internet connection and peer
to peer connection. File sharing is enabled and Client for MN is
enabled.
Are the shared files on the ICS client secure from intrusion over the
internet?
Thanks,
karlo
