shared email --deleted items

We have a shared email inbox that user's have editor access to.. when they
deleted a message from there it puts the item in their (users) deleted items
folder,

here is the problem, we have a user who we think is deleting these items on
purpose and then not saying anything, when I go to her deleted items fodler
and recover (it's empty) which it shouldn't be unless she went through and
purged it.. we have a exchange setup with 10 day retention.

Is there any other way to see if this person deleted the message since it's
a shared mailbox, I can go and retrive it but that's not what I want to do.

Does this make sense.

Thanks

What about lowering that user's permission level? Can you set it so they
can only delete their own items (ones they created) as I think that MAY stop
them deleting incoming emails but I have never tried it.

To see if there are emails missing, can you make a Rule on that Inbox that
copies you in to all emails it receives (just for a while for forensic
purposes)?

Settings won't always get around user behaviour.

If you can handle a little VB 6.0, you could write a little script to
forward you items as they are added to her Deleted Items folder. If
not, let me know and I'll point you to the right code (unless someone
posts an easier way first).
