Shared Documents - Missing from Other Places view

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition. In my Other Places view I do not see the
Shared Documents folder. Has anyone experienced this issue before. Help!

"Other Places" folder/ I have no such folder on My WindowsXP, WindowsNT/Pro
or Windows98. You can create a sub-folder for Shared Documents by clicking
File and Create Folder, then name it. The below website will give you on

I'm experiencing the same thing. Did you ever resolvr your issue? What was
the resolution?

Verify the "Common Documents" path in the registry:

I did verify that Common Documents was set to the default value. "My
Pictures" shows in Other places instead of Shared Pictures. Strange???
