Shared Documents folder issue

L

Linz

I have a desktop computer and a Laptop networked. Both on Windows XP Pro.
If I view the Laptops Shared Documents folder from the PC it shows up as a
music folder. (Music symbol watermark and Music Tasks instead of File and
Folder Tasks).
The Laptops Shared Documents folder when viewed from the Laptop shows up (as
it should)as a Shared Document.

No such issues when viewing the PC's Shared Documents folder from the
Laptop.

Any advice appreciated

On the desktop computer:

1. Type the laptop computer's name in the Start | Run box in this
format:

\\laptop

2. Right-click the Shared Documents folder.

3. Click Properties.

4. Click Customize.

5. Select the desired folder type from the menu.
