Shared Contacts in Publis Folder

I understand that a Public Folder can be used as a location to store a
shared contact list...How would one import a users contacts into Public
Folder? Can it then be searched as other contacts in the users' Address
Book? Thanks.

Create the contacts folder in the PF tree and make sure the right
users/groups have the correct permissions. Then just select & copy or move
items from the user's contacts to the PF contacts in Outlook.

Can it then be searched as other contacts in the
users' Address Book? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "search", but as for address resolution, it can be
added to anyone's address book if they right-click on the PF, properties,
Outlook Address Book tab, and tick the box.
