how can i allow anyone on my network to connect to my
computer without needing a password

Greetings John

What operating system do you have? I take it you have Windows XP Pro since you are required for passwords when tring to access shared resources. You can enable Simple File Sharing which everyone on the network can access shared folders or drives without any restrictions.

1. Open My Computer and click Tools | Folder Options | View
2. Scroll to the end of the advanced settings
3. Un-check "Use simple file sharing (recommended)
