Hello all

I manage the common use and guest computer area for a non-profit
organization. Currently we have the machines locked using the MS Shared
Computer Toolkit.

One of our "guests" is making a stink because he can not to remote desktop
to his office. We tried to explain that this not the purpose of these
systems.

Can Remote Desktop be used when the SCT is in effect ? Please help me make
the case to not allow this bozo...

Since you're trying to protect these publicly available machines, allowing
RDP connections out is not a good idea. One of the "options" in an RDP
session is to make the local drives available to the RDP machine. This
could easily lead to infection by a virur or other malware.
