Shared Calendars

I am using outlook 2003 and in my calendar portion I have an option to open
shared calendar. When I browse to pick out names from contacts to share
calendar with.

I get an error "Unable to display the folder. Your profile is not configured
to support this operation for this user". My question is how do I configure
this option, also is there a better way to share 2003 outlook calendars
without investing in Exchange or SBS 2003.
