shared borders won't update on pages

I know I asked this before, but I can't find the answer now.

My shared borders will not update on all pages, unless I open each
individual page. What do I need to do to fix this?

Sound like you applied them individually to each page, you need to set them as the web default. This
may require that you open each page, then under Format Menu | Shared Border for each page, set it to
use the web default.

But is the All Pages option selected and then applied as web default

It has always been the default, to have a top and left shared borders.
I am working with Front Page 3.x

Other than checking the index page, at this point, how would I "check All
Pages option selected and then applied as web default"

Perhaps I should explain, that each of the 6000+ pages has shared borders.
But they quit updating. I can change shared borders from any page, and that
will be the only page that they change on.

If I go and open another page, then it quickly updates to the new shared
borders. I cannot go through many pages just to get the borders to update.

Sound like you have reach the limit (memory) for using shared borders in a single web.

Are you working with a disk based web or a server based web on your local machine?

There's a limit? What is the actual limit?
I am using a disk based web. Can you advise on this?

I don't know what the limit is for disk-based (C:\..), nor a way to change it, however under a
server-based web (http://), it can be changed via the Extension Admin function..
