You must publish the site to a server via FP's http mode and the server must have the FP2002
extensions installed.

The Front Page Extensions are "programs" that are
resident on the host server which allow additional
functionality in your web site (eg, forms that can email
their input, interact with a database, etc).

The extensions also provide a very nice interface with
which to publish your website from your local PC to the
host (or vice versa should the need arise). This is the
so-called "http" mode that was referred to in one of the
other posts to your question.

Now one other critical piece of info: if you publish the
website using FTP (I assume from your question that is
the publication method you are familar with), you
will "break" the extensions and that functionality will
be lost to the website.

To see whether or not extensions are installed and
functioning, you should contact your host.
