Share Office event Calendar

I am in an office of 15 users. We want to share an office event calendar but
have a mixture of folks with outlook (mostly)2003 and 2007(the boss). We are
not properly networked together. We do have google as our email provider. The
google calendar may be of use??

What is the best option for sharing an office calendar. Keep in mind once
set up it needs to be user friendly.

do you have a "Windows Server" installed?

For sharing Outlook the Microsoft Software is an Exchange Server:

Do share only a calendar, an Exchange server could be a little bit "to
much", so alternatives to an Exchange server could be a better solution:
