Hi, Properly an easy one.

On my data drive I have set up a share folder with everyone having full
control. eg. d:\data\share

I have created subdirectories under share called
d:\data\share\adults
d:\data\share\kids
I have 2 groups, adults and kids, for assigning rights to these directories.
d:\data\share\adults is not inheriting anything but is giving group adults
full control
d:\data\share\kids is not inheriting anything but is giving group adults
full control and kids read write.

my problem is when a person in the kids group maps to the d:\data\share they
can see both the kids and adults directory. I don't want them to know the
adults directory is there eg it's invisible to them

I don't want to create separate share folders since I could have allot of
shares in the future ad I lock things down further.

Can it be done?

Regards

Daniel

No> If they have rights to the share then they can see any folder in it.
