Shadow Copies

Windows 2003 comes with Shadow copies. On one server they are working
fine. On my other server, they are copying and I can see the list of
Shadow copies in the Shadow Copies tab on the drive, but when I try to
restore using the "Previous versions tab" on any of my users folders
there is nothing there when there should be a weeks work of saved
stuff? It is not saving for anyone. I am baffled. I am trying to
restore a previous version of a file but I can’t seem to access.

Does anyone know anything more about Shadow Copies. Can we open with a
backup utility? I can’t seem to find any info on MS site.

Hi,

I figured it out. Apparently the Server had other issues related to
SRV errors due to a too small IRPStackSize. Once increased and
restarted, the Shadow Copies came back.
