Hello,
I have activated Shadow Copies on a disk in a Windows 2003 SP1 AD Domain
controller. Some folders from this disk are shared in a single AD domain.
I have installed the Previous Versions Client (twcli32.msi) on an XP sp2
machine which is a member of the domain.
When I right-click on a share from XP, there is no "Previous Versions
tab" showing.
On the XP machine I checked that the share is from a UNC name, not a
drive mapping. The MS Software Shadow Copy Provider service is running,
as well as the Volume Shadow Copy service. The firewall is not activated.
On the server, the firewall service is not activated. The Shadow Copies
seem to work, twice a day as configured.
