You may be mistaking the symptom for the problem.
What can I do to
stop this everytime I boot up.

To stop the error message, fix the problem.

Look in the Event Logs for relevant messages. When you get the "send
report" screen, click on the "details" links and look there for information

What exactly is the precise text of the message?

What is your video hardware, and what driver are you trying to install?
Are you using an administrator account?

More information would be helpful.
I would also like to get rid of the select a user screen during boot
up.

That's easy to do, but you have other more important things to fix first.
An easy way to do this is with TweakUI, one of the XP Powertoys available
from the Microsoft site. Look in the logon/autologon sections. You may
need to set a password for this to work properly.

OK Let us tackle this one at a time. Let me first say that if I knew
what the problem was I would have fixed it and never wrote for help.
You want details then this is all I have:
BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : 74DF0DD9 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 :
00000001
BCP4 : 8051FC1C OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

If I knew what those numbers meant I would have some idea of the
problem. Yes I Googled the error message without results so I am still
needing help with this.

But what, exactly, is the error message?

And what to the Event Logs show for errors at that time? To see these,
right click on My Computer and choose Manage. In System tools, choose
Event VIewer, then System. Look for red-circle-and-white-X "errors".

Incidentally, it's quite possible that the root of the problem is with the
video hardware or driver, since you are getting errors there, so that
information would be helpful. There are a lot of interdependencies.
