Seucuring W2K server

I have W2K Server, I want to audit or capture any IP address and Mac address
of any p.c try to do something remotely to the server.

For that you would need to either use a firewall or packet sniffer. A software
firewall like Sygate has extensive logging, even if you do not use the firewall
function. Otherwise the built in Netmon can capture all traffic to an adapter, though
I like Ethereal better. The packet sniffers can generate thousands of lines in a
short period of time however, though configuring filters can reduce that
substantially. --- Steve
