SETX and Temp Files

In a nutshell, we have split out a physical drive to handle temp files only
(all under doc&Settings...local...temp) per user. Some of our apps hit this
area hard and bog the system drive. I have set up SETX W:\Temp and SETX
W:\TMP in a group policy logon script. It is working, but seems to be
arbitrary. The major hits we are wanting to move, are still there under the
profile! The point is we want ALL profile temps to go to this one drive.
Any suggestions??

I resolved it. Under Hkey User .default, if you set the location there...it
really means it. P.S. This is a Citrix box.
