I recently moved to china and can't access my yahoo email. ISP says this is
due to gov't censorship! Hoping to access yahoo email via outlook. Yahoo mail
help shows how to enter outlook email account. However, I am confused about
what is a POP3 server and a SMTP server. How do I know if I have these? If I
don't, how do I get them?

Hello

I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem I am having when I click on a
hyperlink that launches outlook to be able to email. I get this error
message "The form cache file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Edson\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS\FRMCACHE.DAT' is not valid.
Contact your administrator"

I don't have an administrator and when I click on the OK button (the only
option) outlook doesnt start up.

Also when I start up Outlook myself I always get this message
"The location messages are delivered to has changed for this user profile.
To complete this operation, you may need to copy the contents of the old
Outlook folders to the new Outlook folders. For information about how to
complete the change of your mail delivery location, see Microsoft Outlook
Help.
Some of the shortcuts on the Outlook Bar may no longer work. Do you want
Outlook to recreat your shortcuts? All shortcuts you have created will be
removed."

If I click yes I get an error message and then the original message again
when I close Outlook. If I click No then Outlook launches and works OK
except for the email stuff.

Help!!!!

Close Outlook. Search for frmcache.dat and delete it - then restart Outlook.

Did you move your PST file?

Close Outlook and delete that file. It's in a hidden folder (Local
Settings), so you may need to enable hidden files and folders. Restart
Outlook and see if the problem has been fixed.

Did you create a new Windows username for your self? Outlook seems to be
having trouble opening your Windows profile properly (the C:\Documents and
Settings\Edson path). Try creating a new mail profile and point it at your
old PST.

Dear Brian

Wow!! Thanks so much. I think I'm fixed up. Amazing what a couple of
simple file deletions will do! Thanks again.

Chau for now
