Setup of XP

Trying to set up xp pro on working system.
Soyo P4VDA motherboard
P4 2.4g processor
Nvidia FX 5200 vidio card
Soundblaster Live 5.1
Creative modem blaster Di5633
Buslink 2.0 USB
512mb Carvair ram
90gb Seagate

Blue screen stop errors include:
The infamous: IRQL not less than or equal to zero
nv_mini.sys
i804port
atapi.sys

Win98Se works fine with the products.
Setting up new HD with XP not an upgrade.
XP seems to have problems with the vidio card, modem and
sound card, what gives? Get the latest drivers? That only
makes the situation worse. More errors and finally a fatal
system error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would make it easier if you disconnected the SBLive, Buslink 2.0 and
Modem Blaster. Set your
hard drive as Master on the Primary IDE channel. In the Bios select
Optimal or fail safe modes and
disable bios virus protection.
