setup loop: couldn't open the boot partition

Attempting a clean W2K setup (upgrade).Setup partitions
and formats drive copies files, reboots and
reports "Couldn't open the boot partition to check for
signature", then reformats drive, reboots and
reports "Couldn't open the boot partition..", copies
files, reboots......

In the meantime it keeps changing the drive size. Any
solutions?

Try going into cmos setup and turning OFF "boot sector" or "virus"
protection, also you may want to double check the drive jumpers are correct.
