Setup Log Files in Disk Cleanup

What are they & can I safely delete them? I know you should not delete
Compress Old Files as there have been problems with this.

But I need to know about the setup log files.

The setup log files that are displayed by the Disk Cleanup wizard can be safely deleted. These files
are generally created by various installation setups and required only for that duration.
