Setup "HotKey"

Could someone advise me on being able to use 1 key to open up a program?
I am referring to the Hotmail email account.
In the past, the email ( TAB ) would complete the remainder of the email
site ... .. " hotmail.com "

Say you want to use [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[1] as your shortcut key.

Create a shortcut for the program you want to launch, (OR, for a web address
sortcut, right click on a blank part of your desktop and select New >
Shortcut. Where it asks for the location, type (Or cut and paste) the
location into it. Press [ENTER], give the shortcut a name name and then Press
[ENTER].) then Right Click on it and select Properties. There will be a box
titled "Shortcut Key". Click on this box and then press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[1] and
this should appear in the box. And there you have your shortcut.

I hope that this helps.

If you're after a single key solution as apposed to using the [1] key, then
try the Function Keys, but some are already predefined..
