setup failed

Hi,

I tried to install RC1 (x86) on my Toshiba A100 Sk8 notebook. It is a core
duo processor I think running at 1.8 ghz with 1 gb ram. It has the intel 950
graphics adapter. It has a Vista capable sticker on it.

It went through the first 3 steps no problem, when it gets to the last step
after a minute or so the screen just goes black. There is some hard drive
activity for a while then the hard drive just blinks every now and then. I
have let it sit over one half hour (two installations) and nothing happens.

Any ideas???

Have you restarted it?

Yes I have, after searching further I think it is a common problem with
Toshiba laptops, possible with the sata driver or the pcmcia driver. I
wonder if this problem exists with RC2?
