Setup Excel to Load Add-in Without Add-in Manager

McRolin

Hello All,
I tried to post this message several days ago and could not find it.
So, here goes again. Hopefully this will not be a duplicate.
I have built an Excel Add-in and am currently building the distribution
setup file using Visual Studio Installer. After running the installer, the
user has to open Excel and then the add-in manger to load the add-in. I
would prefer that the add-in be added to Excel's add-in folder and list
without having to bother the user after the installation.
Any ideas?

Not a solution for the method you are using, but here goes anyway:

You can check how I solved this matter in Charles William's, Matthew Henson's
and my Name Manager.
