setup cannot copy file

I am doing a clean install of XP pro. During "Installing Start menu items",
I get an error message:

Setup cannot copy the file wmpvis.dl_.

Ensure that the disk labeled Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 CD is in
the drive selected below, or provide the location where the file can be found.

Copy files from:
E:\i386

I have cleaned the CD and made sure there were no scratches or smudges.
Still get the error message. What else can I do?

Have you tested by booting on a bootable floppy and use the DOS comand to
copy that file?

xcopy e:\i386\wmpvis*.* c:\temp

Actually, I started over and the second time I tried I had no problems! Go
figure. Thanks anyway.
