Setup AD Sites & Services

Sam

I'm trying to setup AD Sites & Services Subnets to resolve some issues with
Exchange 2000. It is looking for an IP Address and Subnet. I'm following
this article http://support.microsoft.com/?id=322834 but it does not tell me
what goes in the IP address. Shall I just type any IP address from my local
network?

you type your ip range

we use 192.20.50.0 to192.20.49.255
so what i would put in is

ip 192.20.50.0
mask 255.255.254

not very clear on the artical but it is just the range that you put in it

hope that makes sence

AD Sites and services is used to describe to AD your physical network
configuration. This said, you need to create a subnet object, which
represents your network and link that subnet object to your site.
Do you have different remote locations of we are talking about one LAN
without remote sites ?
