Settings point to Ghost folders

There are a couple of registry keys such as
defaultOPSfile, AutoRecoverPath, and Doc_Path that show up
in a couple of places and they point to folders on a Y
drive. The thing is I don't have these folders..in face I
don't even have a Y drive.

Would anyone be able to shed some light on where these
keys should be pointing to? This is a laptop I'm trying
to troubleshoot and I checked my PC to see where they go
but it doesn't have these keys. Below are the addresses
of where the keys are located.

Teere are 2 sets of these 3 keys. Each set share a common
root address in one of these places:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0...
or
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-776561741-1580818891-1060284298-1002
\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0...

The rest of the address for these keys are:

"defaultOPSfile" keys
....\Common\General\Settings

"AutoRecoverPath" keys
....\Excel\Options

"Doc_Path" keys
....\Publisher

Might be the user that installed Office used a network install on drive Y:\
ask them in office.setup

Yeah he probably did, but now I need to know where I can
point the keys so that thier values are more recent and
direct data into actual folders. I tried reinstalling
OfficeXP but it didn't change these keys. What do you
think these keys might be for? Maybe I can just decide
what a good value for them might be.
