In IE, Open the Tools->Internet Options->first tab. Click on the Fonts
button and change it to your preferred font.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, D. asked:
| Hmmm, while perusing some of the links you gave in another thread, IE
| now stays with largest fonts in the view menu, but reverts to the
| fonts specified on a web page! I have trouble reading the archaic
| New Times Roman. How can I get IE to display nothing but Ariel, and
| why do settings in Outlook influence IE?
|
| Thanks,
| D.

||| I use accessibility options in IE6. In IE "tools > internet
| options
|||| Accessibility > ignore font styles specified on web pages >
| ignore
||| font sizes specified on web pages," but since installing
||| Outlook2002, I find that in IE6, I have to go to "view > text
||| sizes," and select largest every time I open IE! It won't stay
||| there even when clicking on a link within the web page! Anyone
||| know what's going on here?
