IE6 scrolling advances more than one page

I've just upgraded to XP, and IE6. In IE6 I use accessibility aides
browser menu > tools > internet options > general tab >
Accessibility....> *Ignore font styles specified on Web Pages*
[ticked] > *Ignore font sizes sizes specified on web pages* [ticked].

Browser menu, *view* > text size > largest [ticked]

I don't know if this influences my IE problem but when I mouse click
once to advance scroll *one page,* the page moves 2 or even 3 pages
instead. I've been through two mouse setting options which make no
difference. Does anyone know what is going on here? Its very
difficult to find where I've left off reading with this going on.

The scroll problem is caused by the recent 824145 update.
You can remove that update from Add/remove programs. There should be another
update out soon.

I don't have any update by that number. Could you mean 824105
instead?

It's the 824145 update that's causing this for everyone. You can click just
below the scroll bar to move one page. 824145 was the last Critical Update
for IE. Don't know why it doesn't show for you.
