Setting up two identies in Outlook 2000

I'm migrating from Outlook Express to Outlook 2000 on two different
machines - one is Windows 98SE and one Windows XP - both stand-alone
with dial up connections.

I'd like to be able to set up two different email identities in Outlook
2000 as you can in Outlook Express. I want each identity to have their
own In & Sent boxes. Is there an easy way to do it in Outlook 2000? I
don't want to have to have different user login through the windows.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No one can answer your question accurately until you provide the mail
support mode of Outlook 2000 you are using.

I'm currently using the Internet Only option. I am not on a LAN,
Microsoft Exchange Server, etc. I have a POP3/SMTP dial-up system.
I've set up two separate accounts/profiles but all the emails come into
the default account. I'd like the two accounts to be separate. It's
quite easy in Outlook Express or Netscape for that matter. Thanks in
advance for any info.

IMO mode doesn't support multiple profiles, only corp mode or Outlook
2002/2003 do.

If you're using Internet Mail Only mode, you need to setup OS level user
profiles. Each OS user profile will use a separate Oulook profile.
Also in IMO mode if you installed Outlook before setting up user profiles
you've got to delete this key in the registry after you've logged in as a
'new' user (to eliminate the profile that's copied to each new user from the
original user):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Messaging
Subsystem\Profiles\Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings

When you startup Outlook the first time it will recreate that profile for a
new user with a new PST file
