recently purchased a laptop and set up a home network. all is fine, apart
from a few teething problems!! my question is, i access my e-mails on my old
pc using outlook express ( it has windows xp and my laptop has windows vista
if that matters ). i need some advice on setting up my laptop to view my
e-mail account using the laptop i.e. would like to access and use my
existing account using my laptop. is this possible and how would i go about
doing so. apologies for my ignorance ( not pc minded !! ). thank you in
advance for any advice given.

Assuming you have a standard SMTP/POP3 email account, duplicate your account
settings in Windows Mail on the laptop, set both OE on the old machine and
WM on the new one to "Leave a copy of mail on the server" so messages can be
downloaded to both machines, and set one of the two machines (makes no
difference which one) to "Delete mail from server after (xx) days" so mail
doesn't pile up on the server.
