Setting up mp3 & video to play on website

I have a free geocities account and they have a measly upload limit of 5MB, the problem is i need more, as me and a mate have made short film clips of us on our bikes etc...and want them to play online in real-time with out it having to be downloaded, just like online music videos,

Just wandered if anyone knows how to go about this, i know i need some form of online server where my file will be kept, which i have to link to off the site in the code?

I am a bit of a novice when it comes to web design,

Ok, if i were to use www.megaupload.com, and put the file on their website could i link it to their so it plays 'inline video' on my site?
