Setting Up Backup Jobs

Is there anyway to setup Windows 2000 backup jobs so that
when the backup job runs it runs in the background without
the backup windows showing? Currently our backup jobs run
OK but is is annoying to have the backup windows appear
every time the backup job runs. One either has to wait
with what one is currently doing until the backup job is
done running or one has to minimize the backup windows to
continue with your work.

Thanks.

Yes. Create an account that you only use for scheduling and schedule the backup
job to run in that account context. The password should never expire.

When the job runs, since it is not in the context of the logged on user, it will
run in the background.

Thanks for your response. I am unclear about something.
Our office has twenty users, each with their own unique
backup circumstances (different directories to backup, and
different locations\network drives to backup to). Would
we have to create twenty different accounts for each
user? Or could we create one account for all users, and
for each user's own PC use this same account?

Thanks again!
