Setting up a small (2 PC) network - need general information

Hi. I will need to set up two computers for a small buisness. No server,
just the 2 PC's. I need to be able to share a printer and a few folders
between the two computers. My first question is, do I need to get XP pro or
will XP home do the trick since I am only using 2 computers?

My 2nd question is, once I have th the PC's in place what do I need to do
for internet access. If I call someone like SBC to order DSL for business
will they help me set up IP addresses, etc or am I on my own? My
understanding is that I will just need the router that comes with the DSL and
a switch.

Any advice on how to set this up and configure it in a simple way?

With just 2 computers, and Simple File Sharing, XP Home will do just fine.

Just know the limitations of SFS, and Guest authentication.

Unless you pay extra, you will likely get one IP address with your Internet
service. You can then use a router (be sure you get one) to connect both
computers, as peers. The DSL service may or may not include a router, and
routers are cheap enough anyway. You can get one in your local Walmart even.
