setting up a remote dial up service...

We have two locations connected via a wireless link. These locations are
about a mile apart. Recently our wireles was down due to a tower issue and
in order to allow one of the users at our factory location to connect, I set
up a direct dial-in connection on one of our windows XP machines here. The
user was able to direct dial that machine (they have a builkt in modem) and
run a terminal server connection to get her emails etc...

This works fine but there is two more users there that would also like to be
able to connect this way. What type of hardware configuration do I need to
implement down there so that all three users can share the connection and be
able to run a terminal server session? I was thinking I could set up an
external modem and purchase a small router that would be direct connected to
the external modem. (DLink has a router that has a 9 pin serial connection)
Then if I changed the users gateway settings to point to the router, should
they not be able to see the same connection and hence access network
resources over the shared dial up line?

Any ideas?

I need to be able to set this up really cheap!

Thanks,

Brad

Have a look at ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). It is fully
described in the WinXP Help facility (Start / Help).

Ah yes, I've never set it up nor seen it set up. Thanks, I will take a look
at it...
