=====================================
Might be worth a try to search the
support website of your e-mail provider.

For Hotmail...try the following:

In the My incoming mail server is a list, click POP3.

In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server box, type pop3.live.com.

In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type smtp.live.com

Click the Advanced tab, and under Server Port Numbers, enter the
following information, and then click OK:

In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) box, type 25 or 587.

In the Incoming mail (POP3) box, type 995.

Under both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3), select
the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) check box.

Check the box - My Server Requires Authentication

Hi sharon

Most e‑mail service provider should provide you with the information you
need to sign in to your e‑mail account. If you don’t have this information
available, contact your e‑mail provider. Your e‑mail provider is typically
your Internet service provider (ISP), but might also be your employer,
school, or an independent provider that offers POP3 or IMAP e‑mail accounts.

Ensure that the above is set accordingly

You need to check with your Ineternet Service Provider (AOL, Yahoo, etc.) and
they will give you the server names.
