Hey all I am trying to connect a second computer to a Motorola Surfboard
SB4200, which gives me blueyonda broadband. Both pcs are running XP. I have
a TRENDnet Internet Station rooter (TW100-S4W1CA). The Surfboard modem is
connected to my pc by a USB wire, and the rooter is connected by a network
cable (not sure of the technical name for the wire UTP RJ-45 network
cable??)...then the second computer I want to get online is connected to the
rooter by another network cable.
I truly have no idea what I am doing. Do i need another network cable, to
link from the rooter to my computer? even though it's connected independently
by the USB wire. Or do I need to configure a network on this system?
I would be truly gateful for any help getting this network sorted.
Thanks a lot.
