setting time limits on an account

How do I set a time limit on an account so my children will not be on the
internet all day?
 
im wondering the same thing. i need to keep my little brother from playing
guild wars all day. his grades are falling and his golf is going down too(hes
a major player on the golf team at his school)

The feature you discribe is built-in to the new VISTA system. As for XP,
you can control logon time, but there is no GUI to do so. You will do it
via command console. For examples of command entries go here:

or, you can install software to set user logon time, heres my favorite,
and of course, it was designed for parents to controll their
kids.....haha
