Setting the WorkGroup Back to System.mdw With A Macro

C

Casey

I know how to set up a shortcut (path statement) to
automatically open Access, join a Security workgroup and
open the database that utilizes that workgroup.

After someone is done using that program, is there a
macro action I can use, or a dos batch file that I can
utilize using the RunApp action in a macro, that will set
the workgroup back to the standard "system.mdw" workgroup?

I know how to do it manually via the WrkGrpAdm file
but want to automate it.

I like to use macros or batch files inside macros in
case you have any ideas. I think this is Access 97.

Please help with advice if you can.

I would appreciate it.

Thank you,

Casey

The shortcut method only joins the workgroup named in the shortcut for
the duration of the current session. It has no effect on the permanent
setting that is changed by using wrkgrpadm.
