setting that erases changes when restarted

Where is the setting that automatically erases changes
made to the computer, and returns it to its original
configuration when restarted.

This depends on what types of changes that you mean...? Standard user based
changes to the desktop, i.e. Position of Windows e.t.c can be cleared using
settings in Group Policy.

Please feel to expand on "changes".
