SETTING MTU ON WIN 2K (HOPE NOT OFF-TOPIC)

Hi to you all.

I've got a question for whom wants to help me:

How can I set a specific MTU value on Win 2000 ?

I need to set an MTU of 1462 to solve big troubles I'm noticing with the
ADSL connection that my ISP provides ME. It uses a PPPoA to PPPoE conversion
and this causes my navigation to be not constant. On others OS in my small
LAN (Win XP, 98) I solved the prob with DRTCP, but on Win 2K OS does'nt
mantains the values I set whit DRTCP. I Think I need to set registry
keys/dword manually to solve.

Can someone tell me what keys/dwords I must instert in win register and
where ?

Thanx anyway.
